Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty which changes the appearance and function of patient’s bodies. Plastic is derived from the Greek work “plastikos” which means to mold or to shape. For people who wish to improve their appearance, cosmetic surgical procedures offer patients the opportunity to reshape certain physical features and improve their self-esteem.
