About Micro Fat Grafting

Micro fat grafting is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used to restore volume and a youthful appearance to the face. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia and can be used to address a wide range of areas and concerns. The first step involves removal of fat from an area like the thighs, abdomen or buttocks, using local anesthetic. A narrow cannula gently removes fat cells with the purpose of preserving them for the grafting process.

The removed fat cells are then carefully harvested to prepare them for injection into another area of the body. Fat cells are injected in grafting areas using a fine needle placed just under the surface of the skin. Local anesthetic may also be used during the grafting procedure to ensure patient comfort throughout.
