Injectable fillers are a minimally invasive way to turn back the clock on your appearance. These solutions restore volume to the underlying skin structure, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles from the inside out. Who is it For?

San Diego men and women who are concerned about the signs of aging on the face may be good candidates for injectable filler treatments. Patients should be in reasonably good health, without allergies to lidocaine. Restylane®

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid-based formula used to produce a long-
lasting natural result. Because the solution has ingredients produced by the human body, there is no need to do testing prior to treatment. The smaller particles in Restylane make this a good option for areas like the lips and small shallow scars. It can also be used on fine lines around the eyes or mouth.

Dr. Kaweski will provide a consultation with patients prior to an injectable filler treatment, so she can learn about the patient’s specific concerns and desired results. She can then recommend dermal filler for the unique needs of each San Diego patient. In some cases, Dr. Kaweski may recommend Restylane® and other injections to achieve the most ideal results.

After the Procedure

There is no downtime required after an injectable filler treatment, so patients may return to normal activities right away. There may be some mild redness and swelling at the injection sites, which typically subsides in a day or two. Swelling after lip augmentation may last up to a week.

How Long Will Results for Restylane?

Results can be seen immediately after treatment and continue to improve in the weeks following the procedure. Most injectable treatments will last from 6-12 months before a touch-up procedure is needed. In some cases, a series of treatments in the beginning may prolong the initial results.
